Join Music For Peace

Bands are welcome to Join the Music For Peace Program and Joining is easy. There are two tiers of Membership. The first tier is as a Music Member. The second tier is Music and Action. Here is what you need to do.

Tier One (Music Member)

	Send an MP3 or URL where we can download the MP3
	Send us a URL to an image to be used for your profile
	Tell us what URL you want cross linked to your website
	Supply a BIO or link to an existing Bio for press releases
	Supply us a true E-mail and phone number for communication which we can use if an opportunity arises. - as the program evolves we expect to have more cross marketing opportunities that we want to extend to participants and we want to be able to get a hold of you directly. Examples could be Showcase events or radio interviews for pod casts. We will also use the e-mail to keep you informed on of Peace Action Initiatives that Peace Drum gets involved in. This brings us to the ever emerging Phase 2.

Tier Two (Music and Action Member-) Totally Voluntary

Many Bands have asked what else they can do to forward progressive peace. Phase two is the step from Music into Action and separates those who simply want to be connected with a Progressive Peace as a marketing campaign and those who want to take a more active role. Bands and artists in Phase Two program, voluntarily do the following:

	Cross link from their website back to www.PeaceDrum.org. This can be to your listing on Peace Drum or anywhere on the site you choose which helps your fans know how to get your music and also be aware of Progressive Peace organizations that need their assistance
	Promote the Peace Blogs of PeaceDrum at your events to let your fans and people know there is more they can do to forward notions of Progressive Peace
	Take template letters posted from the Peace Blog and pass then out at your shows
	Suggest to your fans that they call their elected officials on issues when they come up. Elected officials love to know that they are performing the will of the people. As we have found, they will only do opposite unless they hear directly from their constituents.

Why Phase two
As we have stated, many bands have asked what else they can do. In fact some bands asked, how we got so involved. We have learned that Elected officials love to know that they are performing the will of the people. But, it appears they will only do opposite of what most of us want unless they hear directly from their constituents.

Bands and artists are as scattered over the earth like pepper on steak. We are everywhere and we are part of communities like churches or civic groups. Many of us think alike or are somehow cut from similar philosophical cloths. This communal energy can be used with civility in mind and all that really takes is a phone call, or a suggestion.

Terms and Conditions ( if we had real jargon terms and conditions, this is what they would be about).
By sending us what is described in Tier One listed above, you have demonstrated that you do agree to these terms and conditions.

You agree that you have total control of the work being submitted and that you have full authority to allow PeaceDrum, Jetstreamer, or any one Jetstreamer chooses to distribute the music electronically. And that you take full responsibility with any issues or liabilities of having the submitted work electronically distributed.

You hereby grant PeaceDrum and Jetstreamer full rights to electronically distribute the Work and to use the Work in marketing as we see fit.

Basically, membership grants people who come to the our website full ability to download your music or make compilations of your submitted works for free in exchange for marketing of other works and other products that you are free to sell on your site.
